4/18/2009 Behind a season-high five goals from freshman Charlie Streep, the 18th-ranked Bucknell men's lacrosse team exorcized three years of frustration against Colgate and clinched the Patriot League regular-season title Saturday afternoon against the 13th-ranked Raiders at Andy Kerr Stadium.

The Skidmore offense was led by senior attack Nick Coppola, who tallied three goals and four assists on the afternoon, along with junior Matt Levesque, who continued his stellar season with three goals and four assists. Junior Rob Lutin had four goals for the Thoroughbreds and sophomores Jeremy Goldman and Jon Bubier had three and two goals, respectively. Goldman had two assists as well.

Pomona, NJ (4/11/09) – Junior midfielder Taylor Bonner (right) scored the game-winning goal with 3:21 remaining to lift Montclair State (8-4, 3-0) to an 8-7 victory over Richard Stockton (6-4, 1-1) in Skyline Conference action today. Bonner netted a game-high four goals and Tyler Meth added three tallies for the Red Hawks.

Perry Menzies and Mike Danylyshyn scored four goals apiece to lead No. 19 Bucknell to an 18-10 win over Lehigh Saturday night at chilly Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium. With the win, the Bison improved to 5-0 in the Patriot League (7-6 overall) and will now face fellow unbeaten Colgate next Saturday with home field advantage for the Patriot League Tournament on the line.

HAMDEN, Conn. – Todd Kaiser (Summit, N.J.) scored four goals and added two assists, while Kevin Benzing (Severna Park, Md.) made 16 saves as the Quinnipiac University men’s lacrosse team came from behind to defeat No. 19 Denver, 11-10, Saturday afternoon at the Quinnipiac Field Hockey & Lacrosse Turf Field. The Bobcats erased a 6-3 halftime deficit with eight of the next nine goals, covering the first 24 minutes of the second half, to earn their first win against a nationally-ranked team in program history. With the win, the Bobcats improve to 3-6 (1-2 GWLL), while the Pioneers fall to 6-5 (1-1 GWLL).

Senior attackman Joe Mele matched his career high with five goals, senior Nick Sciubba made 12 saves and sophomore Jake Clarke and another huge day at the faceoff mark, leading Bucknell to an important 8-6 road win over Army on Saturday at Michie Stadium. With the victory, the Bison jumped over the .500 mark for the first time all year at 6-5, and more importantly they remained in a first-place tie with Colgate atop the Patriot League standings at 4-0.

READING -- Rusty Booth scored three goals and Curtis Reinard dished out five assists to power the King’s College men’s lacrosse to a 8-6 victory over host Alvernia College Wednesday in Reading. With the win, King’s improved to 2-7 overall and 1-4 in Middle Atlantic Conference play. Alvernia, meanwhile, fell to 2-7 and 0-5 in league games.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Sophomore Kory Kelly posted his third straight hat trick and 10 different Scarlet Knights scored to lead the Rutgers men’s lacrosse team to a 17-1 victory over Wagner Tuesday evening at Yurcak Field. The one goal given up is the fewest goals surrendered by a Rutgers team since a 10-1 victory over Yale on April 4, 1998.
